RULK RANT : Writer Brian Michael Bendis, what took you so long? Red Hulk finally takes command behind Captain America in THE NEW AVENGERS # 24!
Finally, writer Brian Michael Bendis nailed it!
It’s been over a year and a half since our favorite Red Hulk joined the legendary AVENGERS, a partnership that began all the way back in issue # 7 which debuted in November 2010. While it was a terrific idea (and he is equally a terrific writer) for some reason Bendis never fully utilized or fleshed out what an amazing asset it is to have a genius military tactician like the Rulk on board with the Earth’s Mightest Heroes…. until now.
I now present you the first two double splash pages of Issue # 24 of the THE NEW AVENGERS written by Brian Michael Bendis, where the Red Hulk seemingly takes the rightful place of second in command behind Captain America and begins barking orders when it’s time to go to war!

HAPPY RULK YEAR : Happy New Year 2012!
There is plenty of Red Hulk goodness to look forward to in the 2012 year. More Jeff Parker comics. Red Hulk’s first television appearance in “AVENGERS Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” Season Two… followed by a co-starring role in “HULK and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.”. New statues.
