Really love your Red Hulk website. I was into the first few issues and then dropped it. I recently picked up Parker’s run and am getting back into it. It was great to come across your site. I was wondering if you heard anything about a potential hardcover collection or even omnibus? I’m a big fan of Marvel hardcovers and am surprised that Big Red hasn’t had one (other than the Fear Itself run). Even the tpbs available never saw an initial HC printing. I would love to see a Parker Red Hulk Omnibus, kind of like what Marvel did with Jason Aaron’s Wolverine run. Thanks for your time. Keep up the good work.

    • I whole heartedly agree! Jeff Parker’s work is soo deserving of both hardcover volumes and an omnibus! Now while I appreciate both Jeph Loeb & Jeff Parker for different reasons, a great deal of people feel Parker is a better, natural writer in it’s purest form.. yet he just doesn’t sell as well as Jeph Loeb’s slicker, more commercial style of writing. So it’s a money issue with Marvel.. and except for the Fear Itself tie-in (where Marvel factored extra sales from “Fear Itself” completists), they haven’t justified the release of Parker’s work in both formats… i.e. hardcover and tpb… so nothing hardcover is officially in the works.

However, like a fine wine, I think Parker’s work will grow in popularity with age. Add to that, all the new fans, awareness and notoriety Rulk will receive from his co starring role in the upcoming HULK AND THE AGENTS OF S.M.A.S.H cartoon, and I think we’ll receive that hardcover omnibus just yet. But for now.. like me.. you’ll have to settle with trade paperbacks! 🙂

Glad you found the site! Welcome and don’t be a stranger! 😀

Maybe we need to start a petition to get the ball rolling at the House of Ideas.

    • That might just work! I wonder how many of the fans feel the way we do about hardcovers though. What percentage prefers the money saving trade paperbacks.. or just avoids collections entirely and just re-reads their comics… hmm.

Well either way, if some brilliant random guy created just such a petition.. I would happily put up a link to it! 😉
