The covers creepy but the script looks interesting and the art amazing

What scared me more than the cover was Rulk. First he looks like he shrank by 3 feet and lost 300 lbs. Second, he reminds me of the Ventriloquist in the Batman Universe; just standing in the corner, dazed off, literally brain dead with a puppet pulling the strings. Puppeteers being Bendis and JrJr.

Plus they gave Red long pants. LONG PANTS. A Hulk does not have time to buy new suit pants for every issue of transformation (plus, although Rulk does get a paycheck, he’s sure as Hell not going clothes shopping on his day off.)

Although at least they’re not speedos like Big Green wore in the 80-90s. *shivers*

You have a very good eye Zombie-Wolf. I did not notice the pants until you called attention to it. His uniform is certainly black stretchy shorts and a Hulk in long pants is quite ridiculous.

      • But he’s cold! 😉

Look at Cap punching Wolverine. They look like they’re pretending! Awful, awful action art from JRJr… again…

Red Hulk? COLD? That’s like saying Mars is blue. Big Red doesn’t need no stinkin’ heater….He IS his own stinkin’ heater.

I seriously want Red to start boiling water if he fights another enemy in the ocean. That or fire-bend magma like some sort of Avatar.

The only only ONLY thing JrJr has a smidge of good for is Cap’s face. The downside? He makes Steve Rogers look 15 years old. (lol, if there was a guy with that Cap face in real life and he was my age I’d go bananas.)
